Shashi Kumar brings over four decades of experience in aerospace engineering, software verification and validation, airworthiness, and safety-critical certification.
As Co-Founder and CTO of Aegiz Technology Pvt. Ltd., he leads the company’s technical strategy to help aerospace and defence organisations navigate complex certification requirements.
Previously, as Senior Engineering Manager for Product Assurance, Airworthiness, and Certification at Honeywell Aerospace India, he led certification teams supporting programmes including the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Boeing 777X, and Airbus A300 upgrades. He was Honeywell’s first approved Software Certification Specialist outside the United States and collaborated with DGCA, CEMILAC, FAA, and EASA.
He holds a Master’s in Software Systems from BITS Pilani, a Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering, an MBA in Marketing, and a PGDHRM. He is an INCOSE Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP) and a Certified Software Quality Professional (CSQP).
His mission is to strengthen India’s aerospace and defence ecosystem through engineering excellence, practical certification strategies, and trusted industry collaboration.
